Its location was great and stunning, to the local waterfall up stockghyll lane, and in a local area. The jewel in the crown was affable and efficient staff.
Lift was missed.

The deluxe room was top-notch and had an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk. I had a warm welcome, friendly attentive staff. The setting of hotel was stunning and incredible, to the ferry to Bowness on Windermere. And it was also near to lake, restaurant and both the town centre and the lake.
The staff were chatty, didn't expect that coming.

Deluxe king room with tea and coffee making facilities as well as comfier bed. Marvellous and fantastic location in Ambleside, very close to Ambleside town centre and lake Windermere, the lakes, Grassmere, Kendal, Keswick and many pubs and restaurants.

Make sure to get deluxe king room with a fantastic bathroom, a wonderful view, as for instance. The staff are friendly attentive and exceptionally nice, managed the parking onsite.

Great location, only a short walk from the town center and away from noisy areas. Plenty of affordable and delicious restaurants nearby to choose from. The room was comfortable with a nice, spacious bathroom. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to suggest a bubble bath after a long day. The breakfast was excellent and served with a smile, the coffee was fresh and delicious.
Can't think of anything negative. Not the type to nitpick or complain.

The breakfast was superb with yogurts and fresh fruit, for example and attention to detail. The location was stunning for traveling around Ambleside, very close to all the fantastic restaurants, the lake and all the fantastic restaurants in Ambleside and both the town centre.
